This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for payments made through PayTo.us. Because PayTo.us is a payment-facilitation platform, refunds for a specific purchase are primarily governed by the policy of the Merchant you paid, while we provide the tools and processing to carry them out.
1. Overview
Each Merchant sets and publishes its own refund and cancellation policy for the products and services it sells. PayTo.us gives Merchants the ability to issue full or partial refunds from their dashboard and processes those refunds through our Payment Processor.
2. Merchant Responsibility
Merchants are responsible for honoring their stated refund policy, for funding any refunds they issue, and for responding to refund requests in good faith. Funds for an approved refund are returned from the Merchant's balance or payout account.
3. How Buyers Request a Refund
If you are a Buyer and would like a refund, please:
- Review the Merchant's published refund policy and the product description;
- Contact the Merchant directly with your order details and reason for the request; and
- If you cannot reach the Merchant or believe a transaction was unauthorized, contact us through our contact form.
4. Refund Processing and Timing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through our Payment Processor. After a refund is processed, it typically takes 5–10 business days for the funds to appear on the Buyer's statement, depending on the bank or card issuer.
5. Subscriptions and Recurring Payments
For subscriptions, you may cancel future renewals at any time from your account or by contacting the Merchant. Cancellation stops future charges; unless the Merchant's policy states otherwise, payments already made for the current billing period are generally non-refundable.
6. Digital Products and Delivery
Many products sold through PayTo.us are digital and delivered immediately. Merchants may limit refunds on digital goods that have already been accessed or downloaded, to the extent permitted by applicable consumer-protection law.
7. Duplicate or Failed Transactions
If you were charged more than once for the same order, or charged for a transaction that did not complete, contact the Merchant or us. Verified duplicate or erroneous charges will be refunded.
8. Chargebacks and Disputes
We encourage Buyers to resolve issues with the Merchant before filing a chargeback. Chargebacks may result in additional fees to the Merchant and can take longer to resolve than a standard refund.
9. Platform Fees
Processing fees charged by the Payment Processor on a transaction may be non-refundable, in accordance with the Payment Processor's terms.
